Overcoming a 5 goal deficit, Syracuse stunned UVA 12-11 in double overtime of the NCAA lacrosse semi-finals. Monday at 1pm, the Orangemen will meet Johns Hopkins, which for the third time in four years, beat Duke.
Syracuse beat Hopkins in Baltimore back in March. The two schools have met five times in the finals; Hopkins has won nine lacrosse titles and Syracuse ten (officially nine; the NCAA took back one of the three consecutive titles--each of which I attended--won in the late 80s and early 90s).
