Think Obama's Pro Gun?

During the campaign, Obama said he "always believed that the Second Amendment protects the right of individuals to bear arms." So why did his transition-team website propose a sweeping series of anti-gun measures hours after election day? (As I've previously noted, the transition team deleted all substantive policy webpages a few days after posting.)

I'm trying, including refraining from negativity. But, I'm getting seriously annoyed about my continued inability legally to own a semi-auto. . .

a) It ain't gonna get any better in 60-odd days.

b) Where the hell was the NRA in this election? Why weren't they out making Obama's record clear? *I* knew he was lying through his teeth, but you couldn't have said it by any media reports -- not even stuff promoted by bloggers -- because there wasn't a lot.
