Wide Open

If the 2008 Presidential campaign seems particularly unsettled, that's because it's particularly unsettled: "It's the first time since 1952 that there is no incumbent president or vice president running in either party."

Lefty: I actually think there's a possibility that Al Gore will be the Democrats' candidate--and that would take any cake.
