Boycott Ed Schultz

Ed Schultz has a newsbusters.com rap sheet over 90 pages long.  That should be enough, but he is over the top.

Liberals will do anything to destroy conservative candidates, including invent unprovable assertions that they cannot be held accountable to.    Liberals want to run Obama against Romney for two reasons:

  1. Romney is so liberal that the choice between Obama and Romney will be meaningless for many voters and apathy and cause a low conservative turnout.
  2. If Romney wins, then liberals have the RINO Romney.  Prediction: if Romney gets the republican nomination they will immediately start painting him with 'liberal' and 'moderate' labels.  They will hold off until the nomination.

In the meantime, they will destroy any conservative like Perry or Cain, as best they can.   How will they do that?  The easiest way to destroy any sensible argument is with unprovable ad hominem attacks. As related in the book 365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy,
...if you are debating immigration, [liberals] will accuse you of being a 'racist'; if you're worried about radical Islam, you're 'Islamophobic'; if you want your kids to be taught properly at school, you're an 'elitist'; if you think marriage requires one man and one woman, you're 'homophobic'; if you think there are rather obvious differences between men and women, you're a 'sexist'; and so on. This technique says: 'My opponent is so satanically evil that what little truth he has to utter is irredeemably tainted by his depravity.'
Ed Shultz is skilled at this, his latest rant accuses Mr. Cain, Republican presidential candidate, of pandering to "white Republicans out there who don't like black folks."  The 'pandering' in question?  "I don't believe racism in this country today holds anybody back in a big way," Cain said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Are there some elements of racism? Yes. It gets back to if we don't grow this economy, that is a ripple effect for every economic level, and because blacks are more disproportionately unemployed, they get hit the worst when economic policies don't work. That's where it starts.
Well there is plenty of support for Mr Cain's statement, starting with the office of President of the United States.  But lets set all that aside, we could be here for hours with examples of black success.

The real issue is the unprovable attack on Mr Cain  It is typical liberal double talk.  For white people they are afraid of, they label them racist. With Mr. Cain, they say he is appealing to racists. Ed Schultz also has two pansies on his show to pantomime his attack.   Ed Schultz doesn't have a guest to support Mr. Cain.  One says that Mr. Cain is appealing to "post-intentional racism" - racism that people don't intend to have or to act upon.  The other says "It's almost as if this guy is trying to warm up to [the racists] and tell them what they want to hear." All totally unprovable.

Of course, if Mr. Cain is right, as I think he is, then there is no need for the liberal machine to grind out laws favoring minorities anymore, is there?  There wouldn't be a need for all the entitlements, special housing or safety nets.  In a world of equal opportunity, there's no need for liberals at all.  That is why they hate Mr. Cain for speaking truth.  The emperor has no clothes.

It used to be, liberals passed laws against thought crimes in their quest for power.  Now they are accusing their opponents of un-thought crimes... you don't have to even think it to be guilty now.

There is hardly a fact in Ed Shultz show, but he has a million viewers, if you believe the ratings.  He runs for election every day with his sponsors.  It's about time to boycott them and end the charade.

They're making the election a strictly black-white choice.

They're working up to a race war.

Definitely _not_ a good thing - no matter how you look at it.

It's not just Shultz. Read Colbert King in today's WaPo: King equates Cain's allegation that Blacks are "brainwashed" into voting Democrat with a charge that Cain "question[ed] the intelligence" of African Americans. Cain, of course, never said the latter, which tends to support his original point--African Americans who vote the straight Democrat ticket not only seem brainwashed in the booth, but compelled to swarm-attack any Black who ventures outside the precious cult of victimhood (e.g., Thomas Sowell).

Note: this is about as much as I have the mental energy to write, and all that I can do with Safari on a %}~#{-ing iPad--essentially incompatible with Blogger. Suggestions welcomed if anyone's figured out how to post from Safari w/out a mouse--it will be several more days before I can sit up comfortably, much less sit before a computer.

Martin Bashir is pretty bad at MSNBC, too.

And Piers Morgan at CNN just sits there as Harry Belafonte and Sean Penn spew racists venom. Morgan doesn't challenge or question anything they say. Penn's latest:

PENN: ... You have what I call the “Get the ‘N’-word out of the White House party,” the Tea Party, this kind of sensibility, which is much more of a distraction-

PIERS MORGAN: Well, I had Morgan Freeman on, one of your movie colleagues, and he was very passionate about that very subject, saying there are elements of the Tea Party who just, as he said, want to get the black man out of the White House. He said it on this show.

PENN: I don’t think there’s any doubt about it. If you ask a representative of the Tea Party, “okay, Social Security, socialist, get rid of it,” they're going to get very confused. What the, what they're -- at the end of the day, there's a big bubble coming out of their heads saying, you know, “can we just lynch him?”

I am happy to say that I have nothing to contribute because I pay little to no attention to talking heads on the TV.

The info bandwidth alone is too low, even if it were all info. Since even in Conservo-Republican cases it's about 40% noise, it's not worth the time and effort.

You cannot deal with, or even identify all the significant points -- on TV. A real discussion of the issues has to ideally start with a thorough fisking, then a response to that fisking.

That's one reason I like NOfP -- Carl fisks things as good as any of them.

Sidebar:

Carl, WhytF are you using an iPad? Get a Galaxy Tab, man, or a Motorola Xoom, some form of Android based tool. Any money put onto an iPad is a waste of time. Apple will be clearly on their way out of business in five-odd years, without Jobs to find them a fresh, new, "insanely great" cash cow when they lose the iPhone market (already on the way) and the pad market (accelerated by the iPhone downtrend).

I know Bob hates hearing that, but it's my prediction, and I stand by it. Apple is doomed. In five years it'll be obvious. Right now, you just have to look at Apple's history.

Carl: I call foul -- Tthreadjacking the comments section to blast a product you would be bored out of your mind without ? Can we get back to Ed Scultz?

OBH: MSNBC and the rest of the lame stream media influence elections, even if they don't influence you. I don't have a TV either, so I have only seen his program via YouTube. In Sidebars: stick to your instinct-- you have "nothing to contribute".LOL Again, no threadjacking, please.

You are so right-- they paint them all the same color there at MSNBC.
What does the MSN stand for there? More of the Same Nitwits?

Bob, it's not threadjacking when the owner of the blog says:

"Suggestions welcomed if..."

And the suggestion follows from that, which it does. He would not be having these problems, I'd bet, with an Android based tablet. Not the least bit because I'd lay HUGE odds Android, Chrome and Blogspot (ALL owned by Google, correct?) are fully compatible.

I'm not a Romney fan, but let's not get carried away with an Obama equivalence. Romney may be hypocritical, but he's not dishonest. He may be a squish, but he does actually know how wealth is created.

We went through this in 2008 (and 1992 and 96,actually), with conservatives getting indignant and boycotting McCain. I would like to personally thank you for passing Obamacare, chumps.

The point is to vote against people, not for them. Throwing the worst bastards out should be the first thought in every era.

Excerpt from NewsBuster's piece titled, "Ed Schultz Vows He'll Cheerlead for Wall Street Protests Every Night on TV"

"...How curious indeed that for all his bloviating about Occupy Wall Street, Schultz has broadcast "The Ed Show" from Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan only once since the protest began a month ago, and his radio show not at all.

Perhaps significantly, "The Ed Show" that aired from Occupy Wall Street on Oct. 5 did not go well at all, with Schultz being jeered as a "corporatist" for much of the hour by protesters behind him.

The hostility toward Schultz that night was so nasty that James Holm, a producer on Schultz's radio show, lashed out at the protesters the following day on the radio show (audio) --

' These people were attacking Ed Schultz for being a corporatist. Give me a freakin' break! This is the only show that talks about union issues every single day. This is the show that spent a year and a half fighting for health care in this country. This is the show that talks about school teachers and firefighters and policemen. And these punks -- and I'm going to use that word again -- they're punks, have the audacity to sit there and call us corporate media, you can go straight to hell! And if I, if you happen to have seen me on TV last night, we were in, on the verge of a riot. And I wasn't mad because they're attacking Ed. What I'm mad about is they're hurting their own movement.' "

And what annoys me is that you -- and those you associate with -- are each too much of a clueless eph to even begin to grasp that their "movement" is nothing but the whining of a spoiled child. They struck out at you not because they were justified, but because they're there to strike out at anything that isn't offering them the exact thing they want, free bread and circuses.

Bread and Circuses -- the OWS crowd IS, indeed, "Democracy in action".

From NewsBusters today:

ED SCHULTZ WANTS DEMOCRATS TO PURGE PARTY -- STARTING BELOW THE WAIST

Senate Democrats who didn't vote for President Obama's jobs bill, consider yourself warned -- Ed Schultz is coming after you. More specifically, he's coming after part of you.

On his radio show Oct. 13, Schultz lashed out at senators Ben Nelson and Jon Tester for siding with Republicans against the legislation, helping ensure its defeat.

In typically crude fashion, Schultz said it was time for Democrats to clean house (audio) --

"Ben Nelson and Jon Tester did not do their part. And I would like to see Harry Reid ask them to leave the Democratic Party. It's gonad-cuttin' time is what it is. It's time now for the Democrats to play tough with their own people...

... You know, maybe a black guy doesn't sell very well in Montana. Maybe a black guy doesn't sell very well in Nebraska. Give me a reason, Sen. Nelson, other than all it's going to do is raise taxes and spend money. No it's not! It's going to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans and it's going to create jobs for those who are out of work! How in the world can you be against that?! Get out of the damn caucus! You're not a Democrat! And the same thing goes for you, Tester! This was a defining moment."

This country was flushed down the toilet before President Obama took the oath of office. When is the media going to stop acting like the republicans are actually normal and sane? This is what happened in Germany in 1933. When is someone going to have the courage to call out these nut jobs.
