But...regarding the dust storm - what do they do about that pool? Doesn't it get pretty full of sand? If it does, how do they get it out?

Sunrise here now is about 6am. I get up at 5:40am. And when I look out my window, there are already 2 "pool-boys" cleaning each of the 5-6 pools.

But how? they can't very well use shovels... I'd think pumps would clog...
No doubt there's something very simple, but I'm not seeing it!

All I see are the same pumps as used in the U.S. On the other hand, they can afford serious filtration systems here. . .
