After Sen. John McCain (R., Ariz.) focused on issues in his wheelhouse -- the dearth of transparency and wealth of special deals in Obamacare -- and chastised Obama for failing to live up to his campaign promises to change the way Washington works and conduct health-care negotiations in front of C-SPAN cameras, the president got testy.Video here.
"We're not campaigning any more, John. The election is over," he said.
To which McCain responded, "I'm reminded of that every day."

The voters are reminded of it, too:
"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20. For President Obama, the Approval Index has been lower only once."

The President's popularity seems to tank whenever there's a push to pass the healthcare bill.
The Unicorn Riders election win was a pyrrhic victory. He achieved the primary goal of his campaign, to complete the top line of his resume. The hubris and ego with, which he entered the office have not been supported by his near total lack of achievement and success. His crowning achievement, Stimulus, didn’t, and now a year later he is tracking back over the same ground renamed, Jobs. To achieve more he must lead and that he cannot do.
So, trapped in a Summit he should not have to attend he is forced to discuss issues and facts he does not wish to discuss to achieve a goal lesser than that to which he is entitled.
The Republicans came prepared. The Democrats came with tearful, dramatic anecdotes. The Unicorn Rider came with a year of frustrations and anger. Game, set, match.
How odd that the Summit would end up an opportunity for a man bereft of leadership skills to showcase his lack of skill, while the American public sat dumbstruck.

No, haven't you gotten the media memo on that???
They've just changed their riding positions since.
Apparently, they're called to ride at the front of their unicorns, now...
Yeah, yeah... that's the ticket....
