In England, at any rate, Climategate is DEAD...the chief 'scientist', no priest, just admitted to the truth.
Will Al Gore be next to admit the truth? Of course not. But we should not let him so easily escape the justice of retribution. Societal scorn and eternal mockery should be his lot for his remaining years, at least on par with what Nixon endured.
And all the other environmental Nazi's? They too should be ridiculed and ostracized, for if allowed to slink off into the nearest dark corner, someday they will return with another "the sky is falling" scam.
Count on it, leopards change not their spots and rats never lose their hunger for garbage.
One additional thought, if Climategate is dead... then so is the justification for their massive grants and the 'rationale' that supposedly supported Cap and Trade...and the EPA regulating carbon dioxide.
YeeHaw! The wicked witch is dead!
Which is not meant to minimize the denial Climategate's true believers will certainly exhibit. Nor the attempts at 'enviromentally responsible legislation and regulation" that they shall continue to try to implement.
Fanatics do not easily give up their 'religion'.
But now, they no longer have the ability to use false data and bogus science to buttress their claims. This is huge.
"that greenhouse gas forcings do not polynomially cointegrate with global temperature and solar irradiance. Therefore, previous claims that carbon emissions permanently increase global temperature are false."
Cap-and-trade is dead. Yet EPA carbon dioxide endangerment lives--it's the current unscientific threat that must be halted.

GB: Yup. The various admissions by Phil Jones include that current warming is no greater than that between 1860-80 and saying only that "there's evidence" warming is caused by human activity. The IPCC study is error filled and grounded on non-peer reviewed papers. And there's a new study to be published in Nature concluding:
