Words vs. Facts

UPDATE: below

If Sotomayor's 2001 remarks were a poor choice of words unrepresentative of her judicial philosophy--as President Obama claimed--why did she say the same thing back in 1994?

Or, if he says it on Fridays, can The One--like Humpty Dumpty--turn slant to truth?

By the way, Sotomayor seems unusually partisan for a judge.

MORE:

She said versions of her "wise Latina" speech multiple times.

Dammit, Carl, don't confuse this issue with ugly, indisputable facts.

If one has to deal with facts then one is led to the conclusion that Sotomeyer is a racist, sexist incompetent.

Since we ALL know The One would never select an incompetent for any job, like, oh, say, selecting gifts for an important visiting head of state, it's equally clear that there is no possible way that The One would do what the facts would tell us.

Hence, the facts are wrong....

Somehow.
