According to Strategy Page, Iraq is safer than Northern Mexico. As Glenn Reynolds says, "bad news for Mexico, and any countries that happen to share a border with Mexico . . ."
I've previously reported that Iraq is safer than South Africa. Not that you'll read that in the mainstream media, at least until Obama "declares victory and pulls out."
You also won't read that shoe-thrower Muntadar al-Zeidi is a follower of anti-American and pro-Iranian cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

Also safer than Venezuela, Thugo's and Sean Penn's little hunk of heaven. The rate of death by violence in Venezuela, a country supposedly at peace, is higher than in Colombia, a country with a civil war. The rate of death by violence has tripled under Thugo's watch.
