I Simply Can't

Keep blogging at this pace. Especially given the blogosphere supposedly is dying.

I already commented twice on this over on VariFrank

More than anything, if Technorati defines corporate editorial aggregate sites like HuffPo as "blogs" (or TownHall, which is "the same but on the Right") then their concept of the Blogosphere is radically different from mine, and I'm not concerned with their position on what it is.

Only 1.5 million bloggers posted in the last 7 days? Carl, we're slowly pushing out the competition!

Which blogs make the most money?

I doubt any "independent" blogs make much money (perhaps RightWingNews; Sullivan now is incorporated into the Atlantic magazine). So while we may be "pushing out the competition" as AVI says, that's because we're giving it away for free. There's some satisfaction in contributing to the coming bankruptcy of the MSM. But OBH has a point in saying that blogs focus and enhance (and, I would add, depend on), rather than substitute for, existing news and opinion sources.

As a minimum, blogs ensure the availability of conservative voices. Yet it's gonna be hard work for at least four years.
Aided--thanks bloggers and commenters!--by praise, discussion and linkage.
