What "Change" Means to Democrats

From the Hill's Briefing Room:
Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) says that if Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) becomes the first female vice president it will be a "backward step for women."
Video here. And Jim Geraghty says about the media, "you secretly, deep down, loathe attractive women who disagree with you, and will set fire to your lip service to feminism in order to tear them down."

(via Jonah on The Corner, who says "Boffo politics there buddy.")

No, they're sexually scared of them. The yawping feminist nutcase Maureen Dowds of the liberal elite world have done a number on a lot of women and men.

A month ago, I would have mocked that notion. Now, I think it undeniable. Who knew so many were so threatened by women, by fertility, and by the dim realization that they're so out-of-sync with most Americans.

Apparently not, given the reaction to Palin, which is the point, and of course you, in your imaginary level of cluelessness, completely failed to Get That.

REPUBLICANS have given the citizens of the USA:

1. Rising unemployment
2. Financial meltdown
3. Housing foreclosure mess
4. International disrespect
5. Balance of trade deficit
6. $500 billion national debt
7. Negative everything else

What happened to "conservativism?" That used to mean "fiscal responsibility." What does it mean now? Republicans are dismal failures. I guess George Bush is the smartest Republican alive right now. It seems so.
