Nojud Mohammed Ali, an eight-year-old Yemeni girl, after a court granted her divorce from the 28-year-old Faez Ali, ending the two-and-a-half month-long marriage:
I am happy that I am divorced now. I will be able to go back to school.
The marriage
had been arranged by the girl's father. But
that wasn't the justification for divorce:
In issuing his ruling Tuesday, the judge said he was terminating the marriage because the girl "had not reached puberty."
A provision in Yemeni law allows parents to sign marriage contracts for children younger than 15. However, the article states that a husband can only consummate the marriage when the wife reaches puberty.
"We know that this is not what happened" in the girl's case, her lawyer said.
There are no provisions for any punishment for a husband in such cases.

Do we know how many girl children Osama has raped so far and how many offspring of his are enjoying life on our good earth? These Islamic Koran-thumpers must be stopped quickly before they destroy civilization. Resources wasted on confining low level/nonviolent criminals in US prisons can be better spent on stopping the Islamic terrorists wherever they are breeding and brainwashing their young.
