Least Surprising News of the Day

According to UPI:
Oliver Stone plans to make a film about U.S. President George W. Bush, with "No Country for Old Men" star Josh Brolin in the title role. . .

Stone told Variety he doesn't intend "Bush" to be anti-Bush, but wants to make "a fair, true portrait of the man."

"People have turned my political ideas into a cliche, but that is superficial," he said. "I'm a dramatist who is interested in people, and I have empathy for Bush as a human being, much the same as I did for Castro, Nixon, Jim Morrison, Jim Garrison and Alexander the Great."
Not that "dramatist" Stone has any pre-conceived bias. No doubt the film will be as fair as Stone's suck-up to Castro.

Can Michael Moore be far behind?
