Fact-Checker Strike Expands to Newspaper Archives

On Sunday April 8th, the New York Times said the housing slump would sap state tax revenues and "pinch" future state budgets. The piece is reserved for subscribers, but Slate's Roger McShane summarized it here. So Monday's headline in the same paper, States Finding Fiscal Surprise: A Cash Surplus, was indeed a surprise. Slate's Ryan Grim noted the flip-flop--a fact the Times hid from readers, as Clay Waters of TimesWatch.Org observes, "The Times made no reference to its previous discredited reporting."

This from the cult claiming erroneous intel proves Bush lied.
