Iraqis? Oh yeah, liberals say,
they hate us. Some do. But, according to a
survey by WorldPublicOpinion.org (affiliated with the
University of Maryland), "The majority of Iraqis overall view the recent parliamentary elections as valid, are optimistic that their country is going in the right direction and feel that the overthrow of Saddam Hussein has been worth the costs." The full report is
here. Some summary bar charts (source:
World Public Opinion):

Admittedly, the Sunni's aren't on board--93 percent see Iraq getting worse; 83 percent say the hardships since the invasion were worse than Saddam. But
given three years of turmoil and terror -- hopefully easing once a new government settles in -- the trend-line should keep rising.
