Uh, no. Listen up, son.
- With approval from the President of Iraq;
- America and its allies are "midwifing" a new birth of freedom, fighting Al Qaeda terrorists (many of whom pre-dated the invasion), so fanatical they;
- Stop at nothing -- murdering innocent bureaucrats, teachers, the elderly, or those kneeling at a different mosques -- killing the patient;
- To preserve a dictatorial Sunni theocracy throughout the Islamic world--even issuing a fatwa on drafters of "the heretical modern constitution" yet, dissatisfied with the status quo, they also;
- Covet Europe and America, and so "wage war against the 'infidel' West," seeking to reverse the flowering of middle-East freedom, claiming the gestating Iraqi democracy is a "Western abomination," an American lie, the "blatant apostasy" of "infidels" that's delayed Islam's glorious global conquest commanded by the Koran--by force if necessary, though the terrorists now realize that;
- Contrary to unsupported lefty assumptions, the majority of Iraqis support the invasion, grateful for America's gung-ho soldiers with the power to provide overdue justice--in fact, fifty-two percent want them to stay--compared to only 10 percent making U.S. withdraw the priority, probably because Iraqis are;
- Optimistic about the country's future, encouraged by;

- The birth was peaceful, safe, non-denominational, colorful (yet light on red-tape), and joyous--normal even!--deploying more busses than Mayor Nagin: still, you might have missed it, given;
- The AWOL MSM's dour, desperate disbelieving and diminished birth announcement, admittedly better than;
- The defeatist Democrats' determination to depart, apparently dreaming democracy demands a virgin birth--or, newly indifferent to the triumph of justice over genocide, perhaps preferring pre-teen abortions--the anti-freedom party bested again by Bush, because they're blind to a synergy so strong it can;
- Move mountains, says the Arab News:
It was the voice of the Iraqi people that was being heard yesterday, not the bomb blasts of the terrorists. What little violence there was as millions crowded toward their local polling stations only served to demonstrate how incoherent and pointless are the efforts of the men of violence to change the country through further bloodshed.
Or, as Bill Roggio reports from the heart of the Sunni triangle:
President Jalal Talabani had asked Iraqis to treat election day as a day of celebration and celebrate is what most people did. Whatever his or her political views, virtually every voter who was asked agreed that this was a momentous day, which well deserved the often party-like atmosphere that gripped the heavily patrolled, traffic-free streets. Time and again Iraqis told inquiring journalists that this was the moment when they took control of their country, the beginning of the end of the US-led occupation and — though this was generally voiced more cautiously — the beginning of the end of insurgent violence.Barwana, once part of Zarqawi self declared “Islamic Republic of Iraq”, is now the scene of al-Qaeda’s greatest nightmare: Muslims exercising their constitutional right to chose their destiny.
Iraqis like Mohammed Wadi, a 50-year-old Shiite schoolteacher, agree: "I am proud as an Iraqi because our country is becoming a center of attraction for all Arab countries."
