Governor Mitt Romney has leased office space near the top of the 60-floor John Hancock Tower, one of the most prestigious addresses in Boston, which aides say he will use in part to raise political funds as he mulls a run for president.(via Templar Pundit)
The unusual step will allow Romney, whose national political activities have intensified this year, to receive and entertain national political figures, GOP fund-raisers, and would-be donors to his presidential campaign in private, luxurious surroundings. Visitors to the office will have a spectacular view of Boston and beyond.

HEY, just what I'D want to vote for:
A president who doesn't hesitate to spend like a drunken fratboy with a FEMA credit card at a Houston stripclub!!
Whooo-haaaaa! Someone who can outspend G-Dub!?!?
Whoodathunkit?
Nick:
Your critique is misplaced. When Romney took office, he faced a potential $3.2 billion deficit. In his first two years, Governor Romney trimmed the Massachusetts budget. His FY06 budget request increases state spending by a modest 2.4 percent, rejecting state Democrats' pleas for increased entitlements. Despite the increase, Romney anticipates a $ 15.2 million surplus for FY06.
Friendly advice: research before writing. Accuracy is more persuasive than unsupported, factitious and conclusionary opinion. Like oil and vinegar, stupidity and sarcasm seldom mix.
