Carl, the truth is, it actually has been done in the past. Two other times, the 9th ward has been flooded delibertaly in order to save the more well to do parts of the city with the express promise that that sectino of town would be rebuilt. I don't think there is any truth to it being done this time, but I think you could understand how people would be suspicious.
Maybe I missed something. I went to "Anchoress" and she seems to be right on. Are you attempting to appear to be even handed and 'moderate'? Is so you need to find views that are bizarre. DailyKos is clearly a good place to start. However pointing out commonesense post on "right wing" blog is telling. You clearly lean to the left, and are merely attempting to appear evenhanded. You appear hypocritical.
