Ball State journalism student Brian Collins is a sportscaster. A legendarily bad one. So bad that show clips "spread like wildfire" on the net. So bad, and so widely recognized, that Collins appeared on Thursday's Letterman show.
Wizbang's got the must-see video, including (at 2:29) Collins' signature phrase, "boom goes the dynamite." ESPN's Scott Van Pelt occasionally adopted the line, if not Collins' cringe-worthy demeanor. As a fellow Ball State student commented, "Brian Collins has morphed from laughing stock of Generation Y message boards to household name for the entire country."
