John Kerry displayed his smooth diplomacy yet again, this time angering our ally Italy. Apparently Kerry called the Iraqi army so pathetic that "even the Italian army could have kicked their [butt]." As reported in Italian daily Corriere della Sera, Italian Defense Minister Antonio Martino responded: "Senator Kerry, instead saying what he thinks, should think about what he says." (via The Corner)
