It's not Oprah Winfrey's fault that former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin hasn't been a guest on her talk show yet! Winfrey declared, "I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over.At least until the Democrats bring back the Fairness Doctrine, Oprah has the First Amendment right to interview, or exclude, anyone she wants. But she shouldn't try to hide her Obama suck-up by equating airtime in October with airtime in December.

Oprah is a talk show host. I no more expect equal time from her than I do from Rush Limbaugh. And it's not like she ever hid her support for Obama, it was open from the beginning.
Oprah's weight gain is probably due to her duplicity about her reasons for not hosting Sarah Palin in a timely fashion. The airwaves belong to the public. She abused the public trust by not giving fair time to Palin. I guess she deserves as much respect as Rush Limbaugh. I'm okay with that.
