Not for the first time, the New York Times forgot to fact-check--and published a letter purportedly from the mayor of Paris that was a fake. A later "Editor's Note" acknowledged error and apologized.
Question:. Might the Times have run the op-ed John McCain submitted in July had the Senator pretended to be French?

You missed a word at the end, there:
"...had the Senator pretended to be a French libtard?"
An easy mistake. And the answer is clearly 'yes'.
