Reason 71

Yesterday, I surveyed American opinion on the election. What does the rest of the world think? I'm shocked, shocked to discover the UN's pro-Barack. Res Ipsa Loquitur. And more generally, it's no suprise that Gallup says that, among those with a preference, foreigners favor Obama nearly 4:1.

The United Governments is a collection of the self-appointed elites of every nation: Arts & Humanities liberals from Europe, spies from Russia, and kleptocrats from third-world nations. Having a worse relationship with that bunch was a good sign.

It was a great idea, it didn't work, we should leave.

I don't think we should leave--that would create a PR stink. Rather, we should just found a "League of Democracies," and concentrate any multilateral efforts there.
