The McCain campaign launched the Palin Truth Files website, with an archive of backgrounders on "Troopergate" and other issues. Baseball Crank also is on the case. Either could be useful counterweights when liberals mistake satire for fact.

Of course, there's no remedy for what Amanda Carpenter calls "The Pornification of Sarah Palin":

Simply put, conservative women who don't hide their femininity are forced to pay a price. Luckily, women like Palin are willing to pay it with a smile to make it easier for all the young women who will follow in her footsteps later.
