Veep Selection Looms
Columnists are speculating on who McCain and Obama might choose for Vice President. NRO's Jonah Goldberg suggests McCain pick a Democrat, so--weirdly--Sam Nunn shows up on both lists. My Republican recommendation--ex-Oklahoma Congressman J.C. Watts--apparently remains off the radar.

Jonah's reasoning is solid until the end. I agree that there are advantages to a Nunn or Lieberman VP pick, but these are outweighed by the disadvantages.
