Antitrust Update

Judge Paul Friedman, of the Federal District Court in D.C., has denied the Federal Trade Commission's request for a preliminary injunction to block the proposed acquisition by grocery chain Whole Foods Market of Wild Oats stores (the Judge's rationale remains under seal). This is good for antitrust--and, possibly, for the planned Sirius-XM merger.
