Lefties Forget the "Why"?

I don't get it. WaPo uber-editor Bob Woodward now says he heard Joe Wilson's wife Valerie Plame was a CIA employee in mid-June 2003. But that was prior to the July 6, 2003, NY Times op-ed, where Wilson leaked a phony account of his mission to Niger. So could the left-wing narrative -- Plame's non-existent "cover" was "blown" in retaliation for the op-ed -- be 100 percent wrong?

Actually, I do get it--once again, liberals lie.

Walter Pincus and Bob Woodward have different recollections about a possible conversation about Joe Wilson's wife and Woodward has a faulty memory about whether he might have mentioned Wilson's wife to Scooter Libby, and we know that at the NY Times Judith Miller and her editors have different recollections about her desire to pursue the Wilson/Niger story. Why is Scooter Libby the only one with a different recollection than others to be indicted? And, was the Administration official who recently told prosecutor Fitzgerald about a conversation with Woodward not interviewed previously? Who else with knowledge of Plame's employment before it was publicly disclosed wasn't interviewed during a two year long inquiry? Fitzmas is beginning to look like Fitzmissing.

Part of the reason it is so problematic is that despite the DU'ers claims of Roveian omnipotence, there probably never was a single source. . . Probably one tidbit of information started moving then it picked up another bit of information from another person and another and another like a snowball until it lands in Novak's column.

Next thing you know we have a 2 year investigation that still can't get to the bottom of who "leaked" the information. Personally I'll be shocked if they ever charge anyone with the actual leak. Especially if Fitzgerald keeps getting blind-sided with things like this.
