Kicking Kerry When He's Down
At the Pope's funeral last night, Senator John Kerry was spotted on crutches, apparently recuperating from knee surgery. GOP Bloggers is soliciting appropriate one-liners. Though my suggestion takes a different tack, I suspect the best will begin: "Now, when I served in Vietnam, . . . "

Shrapnel! It was shrapnel from an old war wound!
And this, of course, explains why Kerry hasn't signed the release for his military records. He's too modest. He does not want the full details of his dire injuries while committing heroics released.
