CBC News says "Viktor Yanukovych announced Friday that he will resign as Ukraine's prime minister after losing to opposition candidate Viktor Yushchenko in the rerun of the presidential election." He refuses to dismiss his appeal of the second vote: "We are still fighting, but I don't have much hope."
Uh, Yanuko, baby, you lost. Call it "resigning" if you like. Just go.
