Newspaper Article of the Week

Global warming is a bigger threat to the world than Hitler, a leading historian has warned.

Dr Jim Hunter told a conference on renewable energy that it would finish the job of the Highland Clearances Dr Hunter, former chairman of Highlands and Islands Enterprise, said Scottish communities would be obliterated over the next two generations by climate change.

He said: 'Global warming is a more insidious and longer-term danger than Hitlerism,but it's one that could be far more deadly.'

Am I wrong or is Scotland cold and mountainous. Seems to me a little warming might brighten the place up some.

Apparently we have reached the point where the earth is doomed and the only reasonable option is to panic. But if our military could handle Hitler, maybe it can handle global warming too. If Bush really cared about the environment, he would call in air strikes on power plants, and send out swarms of attack helicopters to blow up people's SUVs.

Yes, I'm kidding (with some of the trolls out there, it can be hard to tell).
