I often cite
the WattsUpWithThat? blog,
hosted by former TV meteorologist Anthony Watts. It's an excellent place to
spot-check climate change math, including detail on
the siting,
repositioning and
technology, of
weather recording instruments. I particularly recommend his occasional series on "How not to measure temperature"--
Part 75 was posted Thursday. Much of the information from such articles is recorded in
Watts's "surface station project," a database of weather station siting.
