Articles I Never Finished Reading

Here's the first sentence of Daoud Kuttab's December 30th Washington Post op-ed (emphasis added):
In its efforts to stop amateur rockets from nagging the residents of some of its southern cities, Israel appears to have given new life to the fledging Islamic movement in Palestine.
See also The Corner's Cliff May, who asks satirically, "Can’t the Israelis use umbrellas or something?"

"nagging".

So what's wife-beating? A spasm of moodiness brought on by the wife's irritating personality?

Sderot looks like a bombed-out city because that's what it is, and those "nagging" rockets are now reaching further and further into Israel. Hamas was just boasting about that.
